Commerce Association (Unaided Programme) Meeting (14-09-2018)


The Inaugural function of Commerce Association (Unaided Programme) was held on 14.09.2018. The Chief Guest Dr. R.Thiyagarajan, a distinguished alumnus and Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology, Trichy spoke on “Decide Your Destiny”. In his speech he quoted Poets like, Bharathiar, Bharathidasan, Thiruvalluvar and many renowned scientists like Former President of India, Dr.APJ Abdulkalam for their invaluable service in our society.  He sang one of the Barathi song of Indian Independence. He insisted the students be aware of the present day problems in getting a job. He also advised the students the present day problems like TV, social Media, Cinema, Internet facilities like Facebook, Whatsapp and other internet applications in distracting their development and progress. He stated that though there is problems in internet he asked the students to be conscious with the troubles in that. At the end of his speech he asked a student to come over the stage. But the students become shy to go the stage. However, one of the student Mr. R.Maheswaran III. B.Com., B came the dias boldly without any shy. He appreciate the student and adorned a shawl and awarded a cash price for his boldness. He told that the students should come forward boldly when such event is occur. If this is so the student could able to Decide their Destiny. While speaking he narrated the advantages and disadvantages in the present day educational system. Earlier Prof. S.Thilakar Association Vice-President delivered the welcome address. Dr. P.S.S Akilashree Vice Principal (UAP) delivered the Presidential Address. Dr. S. Sivakumar, Associate Professor of Commerce, Prof. R. Jayaraman, Head, Department of Commerce felicitated. Mr. Mugunthan and T.Hariharan (III B.Com)  carried out the Master of Ceremony. M. Donald Dharmaraj, a student of III B.Com proposed the Vote of thanks.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP NCC Army wing of National College, Mahathma Gandhi Memorial Govt. Hospital Trichy jointly organize Blood donation camp on 21-08-2017 at National College Trichy. Lt. Dr. K. Ramar Company Commander of 2 (TN) NCC Army wing delivered the welcome address. Colonal Jubin V Mathew Sena Medal , Officer Commanding, 2 (TN) NCC, Trichy to delivered the inaugural address and inaugurate the Camp. He spoke on importance of Blood Donation. Principal Dr. R. Sundararaman, National College, Trichy to honour the chief guest and deliver the presidential address. Nearly 120 students including NCC Cadets donated their blood. V.Lincy viola jesus of II M.Sc., introduced the chief guest Capt.Dr.M.Tamilselvi , Associate Professor and Head , PG & Research Dept of Mathematics, Seethalakshmi Ramaswami college, Trichy.   Dr.R.Sundararaman , Principal, National college , honoured the chief guest and delivered the presidential address.          The chief guest Capt.Dr.M.Tamilselvi delivered a lecture on   “ Mother of all sciences – Mathematics” . In her lecture , she explained how mathematics play a vital role in various fields like Bio-Technology, Astronomy, Mechanics, chemistry, Physics.
