Teachers’ Day Celebration

National College celebrated Teachers’ day on5^th Wednesday 2018 at 10.00 am. As Part of the Centenary  Celebrations, the management of the college – Dr. V. Krishnamurthy Educational Foundation invited all the retired teachers of the college and honored them with a plaque and felicitated them. There were more than 260 teachers invited and nearly 128 retired teachers accepted the invitation and participated in the felicitation function. Many recollected their memories in nostalgia.  Many others expressed their happiness through  mail  and few others expressed their inability to attend the function due to their old age,  inability to travel and previous commitments.

Principal Dr. R. Sundararaman welcomed the gathering and Shri K. Raghunathan, Secretary of the college presided the function and felicitated the retired teachers.  Further in his speech, he told the gathering, the origin of the college, the past and present teachers’ tireless work to achieve this current status and the future plans of the college. He extended the invitation of centenary celebrations to the retired teachers and thanked every one for having accepted the invitation and being here.

Prof. Dr. Premalatha, Associate Professor Department of Chemistry was the master of the Ceremony and proposed vote of thanks.
